Man shot in Digbeth charged with violent disorder
BBCA man who suffered a gunshot wound to the leg during an incident in Birmingham has been charged with violent disorder.
Keon Knowles, 23, was taken to hospital after the incident which police said started inside the Luna Springs venue in Digbeth on Sunday night.
It is then thought to have spilled out onto the street at the corner of Hack Street and Bromley Street, at around 11:20 BST.
Knowles was arrested in hospital before being released into police custody on Tuesday. On Wednesday, he was charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and violent disorder.
He is being held in custody to appear before city magistrates on Thursday.
Another man, 20-year-old Rowan Youngsam, appeared at the same court on Wednesday after being charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, and wounding with intent.
The police force said it had set up a dedicated website where people could send images, video and other information directly to investigators.
