Search under way after suspected kidnapping in Bolton
BBCAn investigation has begun into a suspected kidnapping after a man was reportedly forced into a car against his will in a Greater Manchester town.
Greater Manchester Police said they are searching for the suspected victim after the car drove off from the scene in Bolton on Manchester Road at about 16:30 BST on Monday.
After speaking to the driver, the man was reportedly made to get into the car, before being driven away towards the town centre.
The force said the suspected victim was reportedly dressed in all black, with a black hoodie and black joggers, and spoke with a local accent.
The suspected victim is believed to be a man in his 40s, around 5ft10 in height.
He has been described as being of medium build, bald, with no facial hair.
Det Sgt Liam Carolan said: "I would like to urge this man, or anybody who knows him and may have spoken to him about what happened, to please contact the police.
"We have conducted initial enquiries, and we believe that a man may have been a victim of a crime, and we are very keen to speak to him to find out what happened."
