Driver arrested after serious crash with motorbike
Google MapsA driver has been arrested on suspicion of drug and dangerous driving after a serious crash involving a car and motorbike.
The collision took place at about 09:00 BST on the A46 near Pennsylvania in South Gloucestershire.
Avon and Somerset Police said the motorcyclist had been taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, but could be life-changing.
A man in his 60s has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving a vehicle while unfit through drugs. He remains in custody.
The road, which connects the A420 to the M4, remains closed as debris still needs to be cleared.
