Motorcyclist dies after M11 crash on county border

A motorcyclist has died after a crash on the M11 on the Cambridgeshire-Essex border.

The 54-year-old man, from Outwell, on the Norfolk border, died after his green Kawasaki ZX 636 was involved in a collision with an orange Mini Cooper near junction 9 for Great Chesterford at about 07:00 BST on Monday, Cambridgeshire Police said.

Part of the road was closed between junction 9 and junction 9A at Stump Cross for more than nine hours.

Officers have asked anyone with information or dashcam footage of the crash or vehicles involved to contact them.
