Police cordon after car crashes into apartments

Engineers are assessing a building in Nottingham after a car crashed into it on Friday night.

Nottinghamshire Police said a vehicle hit an apartment block in Arkwright Walk, The Meadows, at about 22:20 BST.

On Saturday, a cordon remained in place around the flats.

The force said this would stay in place until structural engineers had carried out an assessment.
