Road closed after crash involving two vehicles

An A-road has been closed after a serious crash.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the incident on the A46 Painswick Road, near Brockworth on the outskirts of Gloucester, at about 16:20 BST.

Gloucestershire Police said two vehicles were involved in the crash, with the road between the junctions for Nuthill and Green Street expected to be closed for some time.

Motorists have been advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
