Man taken to hospital after city centre stabbing
BBCA police investigation is under way after a man was stabbed in Leicester city centre.
Leicestershire Police said it received reports at 03:30 BST on Thursday that a man had been stabbed in Charles Street. The force said it attended the scene with East Midlands Ambulance Service and found a man in his 20s near the junction with Yeoman Lane.
Officers said the man was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
The force said a search of the area was undertaken by officers but no arrests have been made.

Police confirmed at 10:45 that Charles Street had reopened in both directions.
Sgt Steph Burnham, from Leicestershire Police, said: "It was reported a group of men were seen running off towards Lee Circle, St James Street and Hill Street.
"I'd like to speak to anyone who was in or close to Charles Street in the early hours of this morning.
"We are keen to speak to anyone with a dashcam in their vehicle and residents or business owners who have a camera on the outside of their property.
"Any information or footage you're able to provide, no matter how insignificant you think it is, could help."
