Motorcyclist, 43, killed in crash on busy route

A motorcyclist has died in a crash with a car on a major route in south Oxfordshire.

The collision involving a red Honda CBR 1000 motorcycle and a grey Audi A3 happened on the A4074 Reading Road at Cane End at about 15:20 BST on Sunday.

The rider of the motorcycle - a 43-year-old man - was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

Thames Valley Police has appealed for any witnesses to the events leading up to the crash, or the incident itself, to get in contact.
