Witness appeal after man found stabbed in street
Joe Giddens/PA WireA man was left needing hospital treatment after being stabbed in the street in Leeds, police have said.
The 27-year-old man was found with stab injuries on Harehills Road at about 13:50 BST on Sunday, according to West Yorkshire Police.
Inquiries established that the man - whose injuries were not believed to be life-threatening - had been assaulted near the junction with Bexley Terrace, a force spokesperson said.
Forensic examinations were carried out at the scene and investigations were continuing into the incident, they added.
Anyone who saw what happened, or who had information useful to the investigation, has been asked to contact police.
