Drugs worth £250,000 recovered from car on A90

Drugs said to be worth a quarter of a million pounds have been recovered from a car on the A90 in Aberdeenshire.

Officers stopped a car travelling northbound towards Stonehaven on Sunday morning.

Cocaine with an estimated street value of £250,000 was found.

A 32-year-old man was arrested and charged and is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court. Police Scotland described it as a "significant" recovery.
