Woman dies and man arrested after disturbance in Edinburgh
BBCA 44-year-old woman has died following a disturbance at a house in the East Craigs area of Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to the property in Craigievar Square at about 20:45 on Monday.
The woman was found with serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Scotland said a 46-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the incident and inquiries were ongoing.
A spokesperson said there was no risk to the wider public but a police presence would remain in the area while inquiries continue.
