Five people are still being sought by police in connection with an illegal rave at a Dorset beauty spot that was attended by thousands and led to disorder.

Eleven people were arrested by Dorset Police at the event, near East Lulworth, on 4 April, which officers believe drew about 2,000 people before being shut down the following evening.

Police originally issued images of six people they wanted to speak to but one woman has since been identified. Aged in her 20s and from the Andover area, in Hampshire, she voluntarily took part in a police interview and has been released under investigation.

Det Ch Insp George Graham said: "Our investigation remains ongoing."

Three further men – a man aged in his 20s from Bridgwater, Somerset, a man aged in his 20s from Pembrokeshire, and a man aged in his 30s from Poole, Dorset – also remain on police bail after being arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker.

A further seven people were arrested for driving offences and all were released under investigation while inquiries continue.

After separate inquiries, a man aged in his 20s, from Exeter, Devon, who was not in the image appeal, was also arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and released on police bail.

"I would urge anyone who has information regarding their identities to please make contact with us," Graham added.
