The rider of the e-bike was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life changing, police said

Police are appealing for information after an e-bike was involved in a crash with a car.

It happened just after 11:45 BST on Friday on Tettenhall Road in Wolverhampton.

The e-bike rider was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital with injuries which were not believed to be life-changing, West Midlands Police said, while the driver of the car spoke with officers and assisted them with their inquiries.

The road was closed while initial investigations were carried out and has since re-opened.

Anyone with information was urged to contact West Midlands Police.
