Thousands have attended Ladies Day at Royal Ascot in their finest hats and high-fashion.

The King and Queen attended for a second time on Thursday, having attended its first day on Tuesday.

One of the highlights of the summer social calendar, it is taking place over five days at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
