Man jailed for 20 years over multiple sex offences

A man who was found guilty of rape and sexual assault has been jailed for 20 years.

Nigel Bull, 55, of East Yorkshire, was convicted of two counts of rape, two counts of engaging in non-penetrative sexual activity with a girl and one count of sexual assault on a female.

The verdict was reached on 17 February following a seven-day trial. Bull was also found not guilty of a third count of rape, on the judge's direction.

At Grimsby Crown Court earlier, Bull was placed on the sex offenders register for life and handed a lifetime sexual harm prevention order.
