Man arrested and charged over Glasgow death

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of another man in Glasgow.

Craig Hamilton, 42, was found dead at a property in Drakemire Avenue in the Castlemilk area earlier this month.

Emergency services were called on 2 April after concern that he had not been seen for five days.

Police Scotland said a 56-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death. He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.

Previously a statement from the dead man's family said: "Craig was much loved by his family and friends and he will be missed."
