Three women arrested after man robbed

Three women have been arrested after a man was assaulted and robbed in Derby.

Derbyshire Police said it happened at the junction of Normanton Road and Lara Croft Way at 21:15 BST on Tuesday.

The man, 30, was assaulted before a number of his possessions were stolen, the force added.

Three women, 45, 35 and 27, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and remain in police custody.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with footage, to come forward.
