Man seriously injured in moped crash

A man has suffered life-threatening injuries during a crash between a moped and a car on a country road near Langtoft in East Yorkshire.

The 52-year-old man was travelling north on Driffield Road at about 12:50 BST on Friday when his purple Lambretta collided with a silver Audi Q4 travelling in the opposite direction.

He was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains. The driver of the Audi is not believed to have sustained any injuries.

Humberside Police urged anyone with information to get in contact.
