Motorcyclist dies after three-vehicle crash

A motorcyclist has died after a crash involving a tipper lorry and a car.

The crash happened on the A429 Fosseway in Northleach, Gloucestershire, at about 16:50 BST on Wednesday. A man from the Cotswolds in his 40s received treatment from paramedics at the scene but died from his injuries, Gloucestershire Police said.

The force is appealing for anyone with dashcam footage, as well as anyone who saw the crash - which it said involved a black Kawasaki motorcycle, a white Scania tipper lorry and a grey Nissan Juke - to come forward.

A stretch of the A429 between the Northleach Roundabout and the Old Prison Crossroads was closed for investigation work and has since reopened.
