Two arrested after woman killed in crash
GoogleTwo men have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a woman was killed in a crash on a rural road.
The woman, who police said was in her 40s, was a rear seat passenger in a Honda Civic travelling towards Queensbury in Bradford when it collided with a Seat Leon heading in the opposite direction on the A647 on Sunday.
A VW Golf, also driving away from Queensbury, was also damaged in the incident at 10:45 BST, which resulted in three people being taken to hospital with serious injuries.
West Yorkshire Police asked anyone who saw the crash, which happened north of the Howcans Lane junction, or the moments leading up to it to get in touch.
The male driver of the VW Golf was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and causing death by dangerous driving.
The male driver of the Seat Leon was also arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Both men have been bailed pending police inquiries.
