The States of Guernsey is on the lookout for a seasonal castle keeper to help look after and celebrate one of the island's most well-known landmarks.

The role, based at Castle Cornet, offers a mix of hands-on outdoor work, visitor interaction and a touch of historic pageantry, including the chance to fire the noonday gun.

The States said the role plays "an important part in the presentation and security" of the historic site, making it a unique opportunity combining practical work with heritage and tourism.

This position is on a casual basis and does not guarantee any hours and applicants must already be living or working in Guernsey to apply.
