Firefighters tackle blaze in derelict building
BBCFirefighters have tackled a blaze in a derelict building in Swinton.
Crews were called to Station Street just after 16:00 BST on Sunday, South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
The fire appeared to have caused significant damage to a building at the rear of the Swinton Working Men's Club.
A fire service spokesperson said: "We are asking the public to stay away from the area and for those living nearby to keep their doors and windows closed due to smoke in the area."

Engines from Dearne, Rotherham, Edlington, Maltby and Elm Lane were sent to the scene, along with an aerial ladder platform from Parkway.
Police and the ambulance service were also called and a section of Station Street, at the junction with Midland Road, was closed.
The spokesperson said an investigation would be launched after firefighting operations were completed.
