Home unfit to live in after tumble dryer fire

A fire believed to have been caused by a tumble dryer has left a house unfit to live in.

Firefighters were called to the home in Lewell Way, West Knighton, on Thursday at about 10:40 BST.

Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews found that the fire on the ground floor involving a tumble dryer had spread through the house to the first floor, "leaving the property uninhabitable".

The fire service said residents were already out of the property before firefighters arrived.
