Songwriter and musician Guy Chambers will be joining a celebration of botanical art in Chichester this bank holiday weekend.

The Review of Sussex Arts (ROSA) Botanical Art Fair, held at West Dean Gardens from 1-4 May, brings together more than 100 artists and performers from across Europe.

Environmental organisation Forests Without Frontiers will be hosting an immersive "Listening to Nature" performance, where visitors will wear headphones to experience amplified natural sounds from the surrounding landscape.

Chambers, who has worked extensively with Robbie Williams as well as many other artists, will perform a piano recital at the fair on 2 May.

"There's a beautiful grand piano there in this incredible oak room," he told Radio Sussex.

"Lots of local talented artists are going to be showing their work there, so I think it'll be a very good thing to support."

ROSA is a not-for-profit organisation promoting Sussex's cultural economy, particularly the artists and the makers.

The event will also feature a sculpture garden, contemporary floristry and a botanical art exhibition curated by 18 members of The Society of Botanical Artists.

Peter Owen Jones, an English Anglican priest, will also be sharing a poetry performance around the idea of conversations with flowers and disconnecting from digital life.
