A man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of another man who died after he was found unresponsive in the street in Rotherham.

Garry Claydon, 54, was found in Waddington Way, Parkgate, on the morning of 1 June 2025 before being pronounced dead at the scene.

On Monday, Wayne White, 54, of Shakespeare Road, Rotherham, appeared at Sheffield Crown Court to deny his murder.

Judge Sarah Wright remanded White into custody and set a trial date for 11 November.
