Multiple fire crews tackled the blaze in Northampton

Firefighters have been tackling a blaze involving bushes and fly-tipped waste close to a football stadium.

Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to scrubland off Walter Tull Way, near to Northampton Town's Sixfields ground, at 16:10 BST.

Crews extinguished the fire, but remained on scene to dampen down hot spots.

Footage shows a large area on fire with thick black smoke billowing in the area. There was another fire on Walter Tull Way a week ago.
