In Pictures: Pooches party at festival for dogs

Four-legged revellers are enjoying the May sun during a festival designed for dogs.

Dogstival is taking place across Saturday and Sunday at Burley Park, in Hampshire, and features entertainment and competitions, all curated specifically for man's best friend.

Highlights include a pop-up dog beach, giving pooches a chance to enjoy the sand at a time of year when they are barred from many UK beaches.

Foam parties are also being held on the beach, proving popular with the canine crowd.

Other entertainment includes flyball, agility, an adventure playground and dog shows.

Meanwhile, some dogs have been tucking in to specially designed dog-friendly cocktails, popsicles and pizzas.
