Railway station toilets receive £500k upgrade

TransPennine Express described the toilets as "more welcoming"

Toilet facilities are now open at two Lincolnshire railway stations following refurbishment.

The toilets, which are free to use, are situated in Cleethorpes and Scunthorpe stations.

Scott Olivant, from TransPennine Express, said: "Good station facilities really matter, and these improvements will make a noticeable difference for people using Cleethorpes and Scunthorpe stations."

The company also installed a new changing places accessible facility at Cleethorpes in 2025.

The accessible toilets at both stations have also been improved.

The upgrades include new toilets, urinals and sinks.
