Police make poisoning arrest after death of man

A man has been arrested on suspicion of administering poison after the death of another man in Leicester.

Leicestershire Police was called to reports a man had been "taken unwell" at a property in Clarendon Park just before 13:45 BST on April 11.

The force said he was treated by paramedics at the scene in Queens Road, but that he later died in hospital.

A 41-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and has since been released on bail.

Police said an investigation into the incident is continuing.
