'Gaslit by the King' and 'McCann suspect's book plot'

Claims made by Earl Spencer about King Charles III's comments following the death of Diana, Princess of Wales continue to feature on some of Sunday's front pages, ahead of the publication of the earl's book about his sister. "It's not every day you get gaslit by the King," is the headline of the Mail on Sunday after Buckingham Palace released a statement saying that fraternal grief could "colour memory". The "furious" earl has denied claims he is writing the memoir for money and has said Diana would be "cheering from the rafters" at the book.
The Sunday Times carries comments from unnamed friends of the King who the paper says have called Earl Spencer a "hypocrite" who is "peddling Diana's privacy". They refer to the "much-married" earl as getting out his "crested carving knives". Beneath that story on the front page, a cartoon of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor reading Earl Spencer's book shows the former prince asking "how dare he embarrass the King! That's my job!"
There is "fury" over plans for a suspect in the disappearance of Madeline McCann to write a tell-all book, according to the Sunday Mirror. Convicted rapist Christian Brueckner, who was released from prison in Germany last year after serving an unrelated sentence, "wants to cash in on the mystery with his side of the story", the paper says.
The Sunday Telegraph quotes Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch as saying the "PM 'fiddles as Putin threatens to burn Europe'." Also on its front page, the Telegraph has been told by friends of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor that he is "living in limbo" over the police inquiry into his relationship with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
"Kangaroo" is the headline of the Sun on Sunday as it reports footballer-turned-pundit Wayne Rooney is "in advanced talks" to join the cast of I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
Top Boy actor Nkechi Simms poses on the front of the Observer, telling of her "quest to retrieve her care files". The headline reads "Careless: how the state stopped me learning the story of my childhood".
Pharmacies are failing on AI diet pill checks, writes Sunday People. It shares an AI-manipulated image of one of its reporters who has visibly increased her BMI using AI to demonstrate the ease of how people "cheat BMI review".
