Van driver and motorcyclist killed in crash

Two men in their 40s have died after a two-vehicle crash involving a van and a motorbike near Truro, police have said.

Officers were called to the junction of the B3288 and an unnamed road between Zelah and Shortlanesend at around 22:50 BST on Monday.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the crash involved a black Citroen van and a red Yamaha motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, from the Penzance area, and the van driver from East Yorkshire, were pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation is underway to establish the cause of the crash, the force has said.
