Warning as serious crash closes road near Airport

Holidaymakers and motorists have been advised to allow extra time for their journeys after a serious crash closed a key A-road to Bristol Airport.

Avon and Somerset Police said emergency services are at the scene of a serious collision on the A38 Bristol Road in Brent Knoll.

The road between the Fox and Goose Pub and the B3140 roundabout is shut and is expected to remain closed until at least midday.

Bristol Airport has advised people to use alternative routes and allow extra travel time.
