Man charged with murder of father-of-three

A man has been charged with the murder of a father of three who was found in a block of flats.

Boguslaw Walczyk, 45, of The Foyer, Stoke Road, Slough, was charged with the murder of Marcin Jankowski.

The 48-year-old, from Slough, was found dead at The Foyer in Stoke Road on 24 September. A post-mortem examination indicated his death was the result of blunt force trauma, Thames Valley Police said.

Walczyk has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Reading Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

Det Ch Insp Stuart May said: "Although a charge has been secured, our enquiries remain ongoing and I would urge anyone who has information that could assist us to come forward.

"No matter how insignificant you believe the information may be, it could be important to our enquiries."
