Three murder arrests over man's stabbing

Two men and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of murdering a 51-year-old man who was stabbed to death.

Dean Fishwick, from Peterlee, died in hospital shortly after being found injured at a property on Thames Road in the town shortly before midnight on Wednesday.

One of the arrested men, aged 53, and the 73-year-old woman remained in custody for questioning on Friday, Durham Police said.

A 77-year-old man who was also held has since been released under investigation.
