Woman dies after car crashes into wall

A woman has died after the car she was driving hit a wall in Huddersfield.

Officers were called at about 07:45 BST on Thursday to reports a black Kia Sportage had crashed at the junction of Heaton Road and Church Street in Paddock.

The 65-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene, West Yorkshire Police said.

Officers appealed for witnesses, or anyone with footage that could help with the investigation, to get in touch.
