Man charged with murder after fatal stabbing

Norfolk Police said officers arrived at a property in Layer Close in Norwich

A man has been charged with murder after a man was found with fatal stab wounds.

On Monday, Norfolk Police arrived at a property in Layer Close, Norwich, after it was called by the ambulance service and found a man in his 70s with stab wounds at 04:45 GMT.

The force said the alleged victim was pronounced dead at the scene and a man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of murder.

Moses Fernandes, 22, of Layer Close, Norwich, has been charged with murder and is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
