New dates announced for Radio 2 in the Park in Stirling
BBCNew dates for the Radio 2 in the Park music festival in Stirling have been announced.
The three-day flagship event will now take place between 11 and 13 September in City Park.
The festival was originally due to be held between 7 and 9 August, but was moved following complaints other music festivals were taking place at the same time.
The line-up for the event, which has previously been headlined by the likes of Sting, Bryan Adams and the Pet Shop Boys, has yet to be announced.
Organisers said previously that they worked with the Scottish Independent Festival Association (SIFA) on the rescheduling.
They said the decision had been taken after "listening to concerns about the impact of staging it in August, when other music festivals are taking place in the locality".
Helen Thomas, head of Radio 2 said she was "delighted" to confirm the new dates.
She said: "Our line-up remains as star-studded as ever and we look forward to announcing which of your favourite artists will be performing in Stirling in the coming weeks."
