Man dies after off-road bike crashes into parked car

A man has died in a crash involving an off-road motorbike and a parked car in Greenock.

The 20-year-old was pronounced dead a short time after the collision at Earnhill Road, on the Larkfield industrial estate, at about 15:35 on Friday.

Police said an an orange KTM bike collided with a yellow MG 3 Sport which was parked at the time.

The road was closed until 18:00 while an initial investigation was carried out and officers have appealed for anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
