Smoggie Queens recommissioned for third series
BBC/Hat Trick ProductionsThe BBC series Smoggie Queens is to return for a third series.
The award-winning iPlayer and BBC Three programme follows a gang of friends who are fiercely proud of their town Middlesbrough and their small pocket of the LGBTQ+ community.
Cast member and writer Phil Dunning is set to return alongside Mark Benton, Alexandra Mardell, Patsy Lowe, and Elijah Young - with more casting to be announced soon.
Dunning said: "So buzzing to be recommissioned for series 3 - going to have a cheeky Bloody Mam to celebrate."
Series producer Chris Jones said: "Phil and I love making this show so much, and the collaboration, care and creativity that every department brings to it is truly special.
"I can't wait for us all to get back to the Boro and make another mad series."
