Man dies three weeks after 'unexplained' injuries

A man has died three weeks after suffering "unexplained" injuries in Hereford, according to police.

Officers were called to Great Western Way, between Sainsbury's and Hunderton Bridge at about 05:00 BST on 31 August.

West Mercia Police said the "injuries continue to be treated as unexplained and an investigation continues".

Speaking after the man was found, Det Ch Insp Edward Slough, said: "We are keeping an open mind as to how the man sustained his injuries, but we do not believe there is any wider risk to the public."
