A road is being closed for five days while it is resurfaced.

The work will take place on Station Road, in Keswick, Cumbria, from Monday morning and is expected to be finished by Friday, according to Cumberland Council.

A road closure will be in place between 07:00 and 17:00 BST each day and a signed diversion route will be in place for drivers.

Emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists will still be able to access the road and waste collection services will continue as normal.

Parking will be restricted and people have been asked to make alternative arrangements.
