Woman in 80s dies following house fire

A woman in her 80s has died after suffering serious burns in a house fire in Bradford.

Emergency services were called to a property on Woodlands Street shortly before 13:15 BST on Sunday, West Yorkshire Police said.

The injured woman was taken to hospital, where she later died.

Officers said the fire was not being treated as suspicious.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said two crews had attended the scene and that the cause of the fire would be investigated.
