Divers rescued from boat taken to hospital

Two divers have been taken to hospital after being rescued off the Dorset coast.

HM Coastguard said the two men were reported to be in difficulty at about 10:50 BST on Sunday on a boat off Poole.

The rescue involved coastguard teams from Poole and Selsey, a coastguard helicopter, Swanage Lifeboat, South West Ambulance Service and an air ambulance.

The coastguard said one diver was airlifted from the boat and taken to hospital and the other was taken to shore by lifeboat and then taken to hospital by ambulance.
