Driver faces more charges after Christmas Eve death
Shaun Whitmore/BBCA driver faces more charges in connection with a crash on Christmas Eve in which one pedestrian died and another was seriously injured.
Two men were walking on Barrack Street, Norwich, at 01:22 GMT on 24 December when a car collided with them.
Nicolae Brica, 48, of Heathgate, Norwich, appeared in court on Boxing Day where he admitted driving with excess alcohol.
Norfolk Police said after inquiries by collision investigators, Brica had been "further charged" with causing death by careless driving while over the prescribed limit for alcohol and causing serious injury by careless driving.
He is expected to appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court on 17 June.
