Roads closed after four people injured in crash

Drivers have been warned to avoid the junction between Eastbury Road and Oxhey Road after a crash

Four people have been taken to hospital and two of those have been arrested following a crash.

Eastbury Road, Wiggenhall Road, and Oxhey Road in Watford were shut at about 03:15 BST after a collision, Hertfordshire Police said.

The force said the incident involved two vehicles and took place at about 01:00 BST.

It added as there had been "police contact prior to the collision" the incident has been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.

The people that were hospitalised, which includes the two arrested in connection with the incident, are said to have serious injuries.
