A house fire in Coventry has been linked to a suspected cannabis factory, police have said.

Five fire crews were called to Hollis Road, in the Stoke area of the city, at about 08:45 BST on Saturday after witnesses reported "billowing" smoke.

Police and ambulances also attended the scene alongside West Midlands Fire Service, which confirmed the fire involved one home and no injuries were reported.

One witness said she saw fire crews force entry through the property's front door where smoke was billowing out. Hollis Road remained closed for several hours.
