Man on mobility scooter injured in crash with van

A man riding a mobility scooter has been seriously injured in a crash with a van.

West Mercia Police said the mobility scooter and a white VW Caddy crashed on Holme Lacy Road, at the junction of Dinedor Avenue, in Hereford, at about 11:40 BST on Wednesday.

The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, police said.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses with information, or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage from the moments leading up to the incident to get in touch.
