Fleetwood Festival of Transport - known as Tram Sunday - is back on Sunday after celebrating its 40th anniversary last year.

The event is a free, family friendly event in Fleetwood, Lancashire, showcasing heritage trams, vintage cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, electric vehicles and replica cars from film and television.

Tram Sunday first took place in 1985 as a part of the celebrations for the anniversary of Blackpool trams, and attracts 70,000 visitors.

It continued to develop over the years to include any form of transport: classic cars, motorbikes, buses and of course, not forgetting the trams.

What can I see?

The day begins with a parade of vehicles from 10:00 and a community parade at 11:00, with the maiden voyage of new giant puppet, Harriet Spirit of Fleetwood.

The parade will make its way along the length of North Albert Street, finishing at St Mary's Church on Lord Street.

There are classic cars, vehicles of all kinds, buses, vans and bikes forming static displays along the town centre high street.

Side streets will be home to funfair rides, rock bands, troupes of dancers and craft stalls.
