Woman, 70, killed and three others hurt in crash
BBCA woman has died and three other people have been seriously injured in a car crash.
The collision involved a grey Cupra and blue Kia Sportage on Parkgate Road, at the junction with Welsh Road, in Chester, at about 23:00 BST on Monday, Cheshire Police said.
A 70-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the Kia was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Kia, along with a further two passengers, suffered serious injuries and were taken to hospital.
A fourth passenger suffered minor injuries, while the driver of the Cupra was not hurt, police said.
Insp Andrew Dennison said: "Enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances and no arrests have been made.
"We are appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened or has any dashcam footage which may aid our investigation to get in touch with us."
