Murder arrest over woman's tower block death

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead at a block of flats in Manchester.

She was was found just after 18:30 GMT in Broadmoss Drive in Blackley, Manchester, on Sunday.

Armed police had been sent to the scene in Somerton Court. The woman has yet to be formally identified by Greater Manchester Police (GMP).

GMP said there was no wider threat to the public.
